The opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to create, maintain, and improve documentation for our software products, including release notes, user guides, technical specifications, training materials, and knowledge base content. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Training, and other stakeholders, you will transform complex information into clear, user-focused documentation while helping to establish and maintain documentation standards across the organisation.

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group? 

Role responsibilities 

• Develop release notes, technical specifications, system requirements, and user documentation for software products.
• Create and maintain content in a DITA-friendly format for multiple audiences, including end users, administrators, and developers.
• Researches, writes, and formats user documentation according to approved styles and standards.
• Define and improve documentation processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Training, and other subject matter experts to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
• Review, edit, and proofread content prior to publication.
• Monitor documentation effectiveness and implement improvements based on user and stakeholder feedback.
• Support documentation for evolving software products and multiple product solutions.

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

• 5+ years' experience creating technical documentation for complex software applications.
• Experience within a SaaS, software development, or similar technology environment.
• Experience writing release notes, technical specifications, user guides, and process documentation for varied audiences.
• Experience using DITA methodologies and XML-based authoring tools.
• Strong understanding of documentation standards and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and UX teams to improve user experience and product content.
• Proven ability to learn complex technical subject matter quickly and communicate it clearly.

Nice to Haves

• Experience documenting multi-solution software applications.
• Knowledge of Markdown, Confluence, API documentation, JSON, configuration specifications, and system diagrams.
• Experience working in a regulated environment and familiarity with compliance and auditability requirements.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar content creation tools.
