The opportunity

Leveraging your expertise as part of our Envision Medical Communications team, you will create impactful, high-quality scientific content, leading assigned projects to support our clients' strategic objectives. You will also have the chance to guide and mentor more junior writers. With openings across a variety of therapy areas in both publications and medical communications accounts – there's something for everyone!

We welcome applications from candidates anywhere in the UK and support both remote working or flexible hybrid opportunities from one of our UK offices (London, Wilmslow, Horsham and Glasgow). 

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

Role responsibilities

  •  Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, client and competitor products, and industry regulations.
  • Create high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant content to meet client briefs across a variety of project types.
  • Contribute to discussion on strategic alignment and communication approaches for assigned projects.
  • Participate in and present at client meetings and onsite programs, assisting in preparation of materials, as needed.
  • Contribute to the scientific content for new business opportunities/proposals, and when appropriate, participate in pitch presentations.
  • Effectively manage and prioritise workload, following processes aligned with internal and client SOPs to deliver to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Provide critical review and feedback on work, ensuring scientific accuracy and data checks against source materials.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and advice for entry-level writers, as required.
  • Contribute to project tracking and reporting using relevant tools (e.g. DataVision, Zinc, Clear), as appropriate.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  •  An advanced degree in a life sciences or clinical discipline.
  • Extensive demonstrable medical communications/publications experience in an agency setting.
  • Ability to effectively interpret, evaluate and communicate complex scientific data in a variety of styles and formats.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and external experts.
  • Expertise in use of online and other data sources for literature reviews and information retrieval.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and experience with graphing/referencing software (e.g. EndNote and GraphPad Prism).
