The opportunity

We are seeking a Data Engineer III with strong technical skills and aptitude who is a self-motivated and energetic individual. You will have an opportunity to be involved in the full spectrum of project implementation, including but not limited to feature design, data pipelines, and data testing, while meeting the needs of a fast-paced environment. 

Role responsibilities

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

• May lead functional teams or projects and run multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Implement and maintain ETL pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, and S3.
• Query and analyze data using SQL and Python.
• Develop and document data models, schemas, and standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity using data validation and testing techniques.
• Provide concise, transparent communications about potential risks, mitigations, and business impacts in a timely manner.
• Design and define technical requirements with existing technologies.
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Ensure data, processes, and pipelines are secure and meets the standards of compliance.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or work experience.
• 7+ years of development experience required.
• Experience with PySpark.
• Experience with cloud data storage, streaming platforms, data analysis and statistical modelling.
• CEFR English level B1 or greater required.
• Experience and participation in Scrum ceremonies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience within Pharmaceutical industry is beneficial, but not required.
