The opportunity 

The Platforms Project Manager – Platform & Operations is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution and delivery of infrastructure, platform, cloud, networking, security, and operational technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role partners closely with Platform & Operations teams, Architecture, Security and Business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic technology programs that support operational excellence, business growth, and technology modernization. 

The Platforms Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, including project planning, resource coordination, risk management, stakeholder communication, governance, budgeting and execution. The role is accountable for driving delivery excellence while ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps, operational priorities, compliance requirements, and organizational objectives. 

This position requires strong project management expertise, technology awareness, stakeholder management capabilities and experience delivering infrastructure and platform-related initiatives within complex enterprise environments.

Role responsibilities 

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure, platform, cloud, networking and automation projects. 

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies. 

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables and objectives are achieved. 

• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, steering committees and stakeholder communications. 

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, assumptions and change requests. 

• Partner with Platform & Operations leadership to align project delivery with technology roadmaps and operational priorities. 

• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, platform modernization initiatives and operational improvement programs. 

• Ensure project activities align with security, compliance, operational governance and architectural standards. 

• Identify, document and track project risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize business and operational impact. 

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, database and application teams to support successful project execution. 

• Manage vendor relationships, third-party deliverables, contracts and implementation activities where required. 

• Facilitate project workshops, planning sessions, requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment activities. 

• Track and report project performance metrics, resource utilization, financial status and delivery progress. 

• Support organizational change management activities related to technology and operational initiatives. 

• Ensure project documentation, decisions, risks, and deliverables are maintained and communicated appropriately. 

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies, governance processes and operational effectiveness. 

• Contribute to portfolio planning, prioritization discussions and strategic technology initiatives. 

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

• 7–10 years of work in project management, technology delivery, infrastructure programs, or enterprise IT environments.

• Proven ability to manage infrastructure, platform, cloud, networking, security, and operational technology projects.

• Track record of delivering projects across hybrid cloud and traditional enterprise infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery frameworks.

• Skilled in coordinating cross‑functional technical teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Demonstrated capability in handling project budgets, vendor relationships, resource planning, and financial reporting.

• Background in supporting infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, platform transformation, or operational improvement efforts.

• Familiarity with highly regulated, operationally mature, or enterprise‑scale environments is preferred.
