The opportunity 

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to join our global HR Operations team. In this role, you will support employees across all our regions by handling a variety of operational tasks and more complex HR processes. Working closely with our wider HR and Business Partnering teams, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and supportive HR service to the business.

This is a hybrid working position based in our Szeged, Hungary office.

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group? 

Role responsibilities 

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations queries, escalating to the HR Business Partnering team and providing support as required.
  • Support the HR Business Partnering team by providing first-line support for employee relations cases, including performance management, and attending disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assist with the production of new starter offer letters and contracts, and support the monitoring of the onboarding process in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Support the offboarding of employees by processing leavers and coordinating with HR Business Partners on any necessary separation or severance documentation, as well as follow-up actions.
  • Manage and accurately document a range of employee lifecycle and employee relations processes, helping to ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Coordinate a variety of leave and flexible working processes including family leave (maternity, paternity, shared parental), short-term disability (including FMLA), and other absences. Provide guidance to managers and employees, collaborating with wider HR teams on any related payroll or benefits matters as required.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and legal advisers to develop, review, and maintain company frameworks and policies, including supporting complex visa and immigration matters alongside the wider HR team.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of absence reporting data. Maintain and update MyEnvision and relevant trackers to keep information current and properly filed. Collaborate with the team to uphold HR compliance and data privacy processes, including regulatory reporting and notifications.
  • Provide support for well-being initiatives and actively participate in company-wide people-related projects, such as engagement surveys. 

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

  • Minimum 2 years' HR Generalist experience, preferably with a relevant HR or Legal qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills required.
  • Good working knowledge of maternity, paternity and absence related HR legislation and best practice.
  • Experience producing and reviewing policies and frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within the business.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to organise workload while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, as well as experience working with HR information systems.
