The opportunity 

Envision Pharma Group is at a pivotal moment of technological transformation. We are moving beyond traditional architecture to build a cognitive, AI-enabled enterprise. We are seeking a visionary Head of Enterprise Architecture to not just "align" IT with business, but to catalyze business growth through intelligent design.

This role will define and maintain an enterprise architecture strategy that enables scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions while ensuring strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA).

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group? 

Role responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain a pragmatic enterprise architecture framework (referencing TOGAF or Zachman where valuable) that supports the strategic vision of the company.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of architects and technical professionals, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of innovation.
• Collaborate deeply with business leaders to translate complex needs into effective, scalable architectural solutions.
• Assess the existing technical stack to identify redundancies and gaps, and define a strategy to consolidate towards a unified, scalable architecture.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, Data Management) to optimize business processes, and lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate their value and alignment with the target state.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, APIs, security protocols, and integration patterns across the organization.
• Facilitate clear, bidirectional communication between IT and business units; prepare and present executive-level reports on architecture initiatives to senior management.
  
• Estimates the financial impact of EA alternatives and applies multiple solutions to business problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

• Significant track record in IT architecture, with strong experience leading high-performing architecture teams in complex, distributed organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. (Master's degree is a plus).
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML platforms, microservices architecture, and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data architecture, APIs, security, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and agile delivery methodologies.
• Understands and speaks the language of the business. Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills in English with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
