The opportunity 

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our IT team in a senior technical role. This role focuses on system stability and scalability, operational excellence across enterprise environments and change management ownership.

We are ideally seeking candidates who can work in a hybrid model from our Szeged, Hungary office, or can work fully remote and are willing to travel as needed to support on-site collaboration.

Role responsibilities 

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure systems remain stable, secure, and aligned to operational needs.
• Act as an escalation point as required.
• Execute Change Management activities and own the process.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to KPI, SLA, and service reliability improvements across IT operations as required.
• Company-wide responsibility for Domain & SSL certificates (purchasing, renewals, management), DNS management (external & internal) as required.
• Maintain company backup solution utilizing Druva for 365 and other data repositories.
• Patching of applicable Servers and Virtual Machines.
• Patching of applicable on-prem hardware (access & firmware)
• Responsible for application packaging in Microsoft Intune.  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 SharePoint, Teams, Entra, Power Platform (management, migrations, security, dynamic security groups)
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned. 

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

• Minimum 3–4 years of progressive IT experience, including hands-on systems administration or senior technical support roles.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise identity systems such as Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Strong experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Backup Solutions (M365 & Entra), Domain & Certificate Management.
• Strong experience executing and managing change management processes, including ServiceNow/Jira and CAB coordination.
• Experience managing on-prem hardware, such as QNAP NAS, UPS devices, and firmware updates - preferable.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, domain registration/renewals, and switches, APs, and Meraki devices.
• Advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, team-based environment.
• B2-level English proficiency required.
