The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Operations Associate to join our Strategic Consulting group. This client-facing role focuses on delivering solutions across technical, operational, and analytical tasks. You will be responsible for full ownership of projects, including both project management and delivery responsibilities.

Role responsibilities

Project management:

• Plan and execute client engagements, collaborating with project teams, taking detailed meeting notes, and supporting development of project plans with milestones, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Keep project materials organized, track action items, and provide regular client updates on progress, key findings, and potential risks, proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients, applying structured problem-solving, research, and analysis, while beginning to take ownership of tasks independently.

Deliverable development:

• Support creation of high-quality client deliverables, collaborating with project leads to ensure projects meet or exceed expectations.
• Interpret feedback from project leads and clients to refine and elevate content across drafts and templates.
• Assist with revenue-generating activities, including proposals, pitch presentations, statements of work, and case studies, maintaining up-to-date resources.

Client & team communication:

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback and drafting clear emails on behalf of project leads.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve issues as they arise within client engagements.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• Educated to bachelor's degree level, with some relevant professional experience.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• A scientific or pharmaceutical background is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with and present to clients.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to take complex information and turn it into clear, effective solutions.
• Motivated to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to take initiative.
