The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, motivated individual who combines initiative with creativity and has an intense drive to achieve superior results for our clients.

In this fantastic role as Senior Account Manager, you will lead the delivery teams in the execution of Shepherd Safety Services projects. This role involves providing clients with drug safety expertise and guiding the development of strategies, processes, and systems for REMS-related and other drug safety projects.

Role responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day, primary point of contact for REMS and other drugs safety projects under the direction and oversight of project lead
  • Develop or oversee development of project deliverables in a variety of different formats (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel) that require little to no modification from Project Lead before being client-ready
  • Oversee and/or perform project management responsibilities: Client management, project team communication, tracking, reporting, and document management, and financial management
  • Coach and mentor direct reports and project teams
  • Support Shepherd leadership in development of proposals, participate in pitch presentations, and draft project statements of work (SOWs)
  • Drive and support business development activities
  • Support growth and development of Shepherd Safety Services team

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  • A passion for the Healthcare industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in the development and operation of Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) programs (5+ years for Sr. Account Exec)
  • 3+ years project management experience (5+ years for Sr. Account Exec)
  • 2+ years overseeing individual contributors (e.g., line manager, development coach) and managing multiple projects (4+ years for Sr. Account Exec)
  • Client and project scope management
  • Financial management and reporting
  • REMS documentation development (e.g., submission documentation, assessment reports)
