The opportunity 

As an Account Manager specializing in medcomms, you will lead the charge in managing and growing our client accounts within EMC (Envision Medical Communications) business. Your role will be crucial in overseeing the full spectrum of project management and client service, ensuring that each project is delivered with the highest quality, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, fostering strong relationships and working closely with internal teams to bring complex projects to fruition.

Role responsibilities 

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders. Understand their goals and needs to provide strategic guidance and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of publications and medcomms projects, including the planning, execution, and delivery of scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations. Ensure that projects align with client objectives and adhere to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and that financial targets are met. Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth within client accounts.
  • Business Development: Play a pivotal role in expanding business within your assigned accounts. Identify new opportunities for growth and contribute to proposals and presentations that drive business development efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Oversee the review and approval processes to maintain the integrity and professionalism of our publications.

Do you have what we are looking for? 

Skills & expertise 

  • Prior experience in a client-facing, project or account management role in a medical communications agency environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools and software.

Salary range (for US roles only) - $69,512 - $90,100

The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive total compensation benefits package designed to reward and support our people.
