The opportunity

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the biopharma and medical technology sectors? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Account Director, Patient Advocacy, to join our dynamic Strategic Consulting team. This specialized team is dedicated to Patient Advocacy and Communications, Commercial Strategy, Medical Affairs, and REMS.

As an Account Director, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, leading the charge in delivering exceptional service and ensuring that all client accounts are managed effectively, on time, and within budget. You'll spearhead a talented account team, guiding them to meet client expectations and deliver outstanding results. You play a crucial role in ensuring the team is effectively resourced and aligned to achieve both client and company goals. You will conduct patient advocacy landscape assessments and strategic plan development to gathering patient insights and craft education and support programs.

In addition to client management, you'll have the opportunity to drive organic growth within accounts, collaborate on business development initiatives, and contribute to exciting projects that extend beyond client work. These projects may include enhancing our ESG initiatives, fostering inclusion and diversity, shaping company culture, and expanding our service offerings.

Role responsibilities

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

  • Serve as the main point of contact for client interactions, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
  • Lead and drive a team, mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Lead project management efforts, delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Develop top-notch deliverables across various formats (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SmartSheet, PowerBI) that are ready for client presentation.
  • Understand client needs and work with the project team to plan and execute client engagements, including setting project timelines and conducting research.
  • Synthesize research findings and develop strategic recommendations to tackle client challenges effectively.
  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts, managing a book of business worth $1.0 - $1.25 million annually.
  • Ensure project profitability through effective financial planning and budget management.
  • Conduct in-depth account planning in partnership with Strategic Consulting Leadership to ensure sustained client success and satisfaction.
  • Drive business development efforts by supporting the creation of detailed proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), aiming to expand existing accounts and secure new business valued between $250,000 and $500,000 annually.
  • Account Leadership, Strategy Development, and Project Execution, partnering with Strategic Consulting Leadership to lead project management, strategy, and execution of patient advocacy client work including but not limited to patient advocacy landscape assessments, strategic plan development, patient insights gathering (incl advisory boards, leadership counsels, journey mapping etc.) and patient education and support programs.
  • Oversee financial planning and budget management to ensure project profitability

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  • A passion for the Healthcare industry.
  • 5-7 years of experience within patient advocacy and patient engagement with biopharma, patient advocacy organizations, and/or healthcare agencies, and a strong understanding of their ways of working.
  • Proven track record of successful project management in patient advocacy.
  • Previous experience in leading a team and mentoring junior team members to encourage professional and personal development.
